Did you know May is Mental Health Awareness Month?

At Precedence EAP we are proud to offer mental health services and resources for our clients. We are also dedicated to eliminating mental health stigma and normalizing the fact that mental health challenges are not something to be ashamed of...

they are a part of life.

Even if you have never been diagnosed with a mental illness, more than 1 in 5 people experience one at some point in their lives so you probably know and love someone who does.

Would you like to offer a training that helps your employees know how to best support someone who is experiencing or developing a mental health condition, such as depression or anxiety, or experiencing a mental health crisis situation such as suicidal ideation or panic attack?

Precedence EAP is trained to offer this valulable training to all our EAP businesses for the cost of $20 per employee, up to 30 people per training. Contact [email protected] for more information!

Defining Good Days

  • This Mental Health Month, Mental Health America is encouraging everyone to reflect on what a “good day” looks like to them.

  • “Good” doesn’t have to mean happy or productive. It can mean calm, neutral, comfortable, manageable, or something else. It can change over time. It’s different for everyone, and only you can define what a good day looks like to you.

  • No matter how you are feeling in this moment, remember that more good days are possible, help is available, and you are not alone.

  • If having good days feels hard, you can check on your mental health with a free, quick, anonymous test at mhascreening.org.

  • You can also reach out to your EAP services at Precedence EAP at (309) 779-2273 or (800) 383-7900 or visit your Precedence EAP Employee Resources Site for support.
