Community resources

Statistics indicate that 85% of persons using EAP services will resolve their problems within the EAP counseling process. About 15% of EAP users will be referred outside of the EAP.

Precedence EAP is experienced working with provider networks as well as insurance and managed health care plans. This experience results in an integrated referral process that is seamless to the employee by providing a choice of providers (on your panel) and assisting the client in obtaining the help they need.

EAP counselors will follow-up with any referrals to confirm client satisfaction and to see if further EAP services are needed. While the EAP counselor will make every effort to encourage and coordinate the referral process, acceptance of the referral is always voluntary.

While our EAP counselors are well-versed in making referrals to other service agencies in the region based on income and need, sometimes your employees need to access these resources without the aid of a counselor.

For this reason, Precedence EAP also offers a secure website for employee-only access that offers local, regional and national resources for financial assistance and education, legal aid and childcare.
