We are an EAP company that is locally based and cares for you.
Based out of the Quad Cities (IA/IL), our providers work out of the Robert Young Center for Community Mental Health and have both the expertise and the access to a wide variety of local and regional resources for your clients’ needs.
For many individuals, exploring EAP services may be a big step. Our licensed counselors understand this sentiment, and we consider it a privilege to earn the trust to care for you employees’ needs.

Individual, Couples & Family Counseling Sessions
Our counselors have at minimum a Master’s level training degree and are licensed in mental health, substance abuse, and family/marital problems and will provide up to 6 counseling sessions (in person or virtually) for each employee, spouse or qualified dependent seeking services.

A Network of Community Resources
Precedence EAP provides access to a secure website for your employees that offers local, regional and national resources for financial assistance and education, legal aid and childcare. Additionally, our EAP counselors are well versed and experienced in making referrals to other human service agencies in the community based on income and need.

Wellness Programming for Managers & Staff
We offers an extensive menu of mental health and wellness components and will provide up to 6-hours of training beyond typical
orientation sessions to cover topics of your choice. An EAP representative is also available to consult or participate with the company’s wellness committee at no additional fees.

Promotional Materials, Orientations, & Trainings
Precedence will provide orientations designed to encourage utilization and materials for distribution to all employees outlining the benefits of EAP and how to schedule appointments, including:

Brochures and flyers encouraging utilization and are provided upon request.

Newsletters with monthly mental health topics will be emailed for HR contacts for easy forwarding and distribution.

Additional marketing materials such as magnets, table tents and other materials are also available upon request.
During orientations, confidentiality is stressed and EAP “how to use” materials are distributed.

Precedence will train and assist managers in identifying the warning signs of troubled employees and share how to make full use of all our EAP services. Managers will have unlimited access to EAP counselors for assistance in dealing with troubled employees and/or to discuss performance issues. Mental Health First Aid Trainings will also be available for managers and staff upon request.

Quality Assurance
The Precedence affiliation with the Robert Young Center for Community Mental Health means strict adherence to the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards. Our affiliation with the Unity Point Health-Trinity Regional Health System means all EAP counselors are licensed and bound by state and federal laws related to confidentiality and are expected to adhere to Trinity corporate compliance policies. Trinity’s corporate compliance policies and standards of professional conduct are benchmark in the industry and demand a higher level of quality across all EAP services. Trinity’s policies and standards along with CARF standards ensure unsurpassed quality in EAP services provided by Precedence. Precedence distributes satisfaction surveys to all EAP clients and will report the results with the annual report.
Annual Reports
Precedence will supply annual utilization reports for all clients. These reports will never include patient names or personal information. Typical reports include the number of employee/dependent users and number of counseling sessions. Reports can be customized to client needs.
Pricing
Our pricing works on a sliding scale that is determined by the number of employees looking to be covered. Pay per services contracts are also available.
